Now that we’re coming into the closing stages of the 2018/19 academic years we’d like to take the time to announce some changes that will be happening here at ICE. We’ve taken on board student feedback and will always plan to do better by you. We feel that making changes during our summer season will allow us to work out any kinks and issues that may arise before getting into the 2019/20 academic year.

We will be taking on new titles across 2019/20 and these will become interchangeable across our current line of titles. In order to make this change happen in the best way possible, we’ll be taking on voluntary game product managers.

This is a great way for students and non-students alike to gain some experience in working esports. As a product manager, you’ll learn the intricacies in planning, executing and delivering a product from start to finish.

So onto what titles we will be looking to add and what they will replace for our upcoming summer season:

What we will be running during our Summer Season: League of Legends, Rainbow 6 Siege, Rocket League and Overwatch.
What titles these will be replacing: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Smash Ultimate

We will be looking to recruit a new Head of Esports/Head Admin for the remainder of this academic year and progressing into 2019/2020.

As a key position at ICE, you will be responsible for overlooking our team of project managers. Ensuring that what students participate in gives them the best possible experience. Shaping the competitive side of ICE for the future.
