Inter-Collegiate Championship

Would you like to represent Ireland in Europe?

Division 1

Eligibility

All members of the team (5 players) must be registered Students in the 2017-2018 academic year and attending the same college.

All members must be willing to represent Ireland in Portugal as part of University Esports Masters program. Flights and Accommodation will be covered by ICE.

All members must be willing to attend RAID2018 on Friday 30th of March. Teams that make it to the Finals will be given a Friday Pass for RAID2018.

Division 1 consists of all teams containing a player ranked Gold 2 or higher. Exact cut off is
once you’re above G3 100lp. If you are in a promotional series then it must be completed prior
to the cut off date.

Players must be ranked in this season before tournament start.

All members must be registered on the ICE Collegiate Platform.

 

Registering to Enter

Each team will be required to register a minimum of 5 players but up to a maximum of 8 if they would like to register subs.    There will be a €10 cost per player to enter.

Registration will begin on January 1st.

Please note:

The Winning team will be required to pick 5 of it’s registered plays to receive both RP and who will represent Ireland in Europe

Game Format

Games will be played on Summoners Rift using our tournament rules which you can see here.

The tournament will be decided based on sign ups but our planned format will be 6 rounds of Swiss Bracket then into knock out stages.  Group games will start on the 29th of January and play through until the 11th of march and proceed into the knock out stages from the 12th of March to 25th before out live final event on Friday 30th of March at RAID2018.

Prizing

1st Place: 3200RP + €500 + Paid Flights and weekend Accommodation in Portugal.
2nd Place: 2400RP + €250
3rd Place: 1600RP + €100
4th Place 800RP.

Division 2

Eligibility

All members of the team must be registered Students in the 2017-2018 academic year and attending the same college.

All members of the team (Minimum 5 players) must be registered Students in the 2017-2018 academic year and attending the same college.

All members must be willing to attend RAID2018 on Friday 30th of March. Teams that make it to the Finals will be given a Friday Pass for RAID2018.

Division 2 consists of all teams made entirely of players ranked below Gold 2 and with a
previous season rank no higher than Platinum 4. Exact cut off P4 100lp.

Players must be ranked in this season before tournament start.

All members must be registered on the ICE Collegiate Platform.

SPECIAL NOTE: 

If you are attending RAID2018 as a BYPOC attendee, you can just buy a BYOC ticket instead of a ICE LOL College Ticket and this will cover your entry into The Inter-Collegiate Championship as well as what the weekend has to offer.
